About Boboto Care
Boboto Care is a multidisciplinary postpartum and family support collective providing professional, evidence-based care to families throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Our team supports families through the transition to parenthood with compassionate, individualized care focused on maternal recovery, newborn wellbeing, and family adjustment.
As demand for our services continues to grow, we are launching a Summer Mentorship Program for qualified infant care professionals interested in developing specialized expertise in newborn and postpartum care.
This program is designed to provide hands-on experience, mentorship, and advanced training while maintaining the flexibility of independent contractor work.
The Opportunity
Successful applicants will join our overnight care team as Independent Contractors and work directly with families across the GTA. During the summer program, contractors will primarily support client coverage needs, including overnight shifts and occasional short-notice assignments, while receiving ongoing mentorship and professional development.
This role is ideal for professionals who already possess strong infant care experience and are looking to further specialize in postpartum and newborn support.
We welcome applications from qualified:
- Registered Early Childhood Educators (ECEs)
- Early Childhood Assistants (ECAs) with significant infant care experience
- Nursing students in good standing and recent nursing graduates
- Trained Birth and Postpartum Doulas
- Child and Youth Workers with infant care experience
- Other healthcare and childcare professionals with demonstrated newborn and postpartum care expertise
Summer Mentorship Program
Selected contractors will participate in a structured summer development program that includes:
- Hands-on newborn and postpartum care experience
- Weekly mentorship and case review sessions
- Ongoing education and skills development
- Training in Boboto Care's standards, systems, and care philosophy
- Exposure to a variety of family dynamics and postpartum situations
- Opportunities to work alongside experienced postpartum professionals
Upon successful completion of the summer program, contractors may be invited to join Boboto Care's preferred provider network and receive consideration for ongoing client placements as regular members of our care team.
