Full job description

About the Role

We are a fully equipped, professional Pilates studio seeking certified Pilates Instructors to join our growing team.

We are looking for instructors who are technically strong, confident in their cueing, and committed to delivering safe, effective, and results-driven movement experiences. This role is ideal for instructors who value precision, proper alignment, and thoughtful programming within a high-standard studio environment.

Responsibilities

Lead safe, structured group Reformer and/or Mat Pilates classes
Program classes for mixed-level clients with clear progressions and regressions
Demonstrate proper technique and alignment to ensure client safety
Provide clear verbal cueing, hands-on corrections (where appropriate), and modifications
Educate clients on Pilates principles including breath, control, stability, and mobility
Maintain a professional, welcoming, and supportive class environment
Deliver consistent, high-quality instruction across all sessions
Arrive prepared and on time for all scheduled classes
Maintain cleanliness and organization of studio equipment and space
Stay current with Pilates methodology through continued education

Skills & Qualifications

Certified Pilates Instructor (Reformer and/or Mat)
Strong understanding of anatomy, alignment, and movement mechanics
Experience teaching group classes preferred
Clear, confident, and precise cueing style
Strong class management and client engagement skills
Professional, reliable, and organized
STOTT Pilates certification is considered a strong asset

Requirements

Pilates certification (Reformer and/or Mat)
Minimum 1 year teaching experience preferred
Current CPR and First Aid certification (required prior to start)
Fluent in English (additional languages are an asset)

Compensation

Reformer Classes: $35 – $50 per class (based on experience)
Mat / HIIT / Strength Classes: $25 – $35 per class
Performance-based bonuses may be offered based on class attendance
Opportunity for increased hours as the studio schedule expands

Compensation includes performance-based earning potential, with increased pay opportunities as class attendance grows.
