Job Scope
As a Meet and Greet Concierge, you will be the first point of contact for VIPs, business travelers, and other passengers requiring personalized assistance at the airport. Your primary responsibility is to ensure a seamless, comfortable, and efficient experience for clients from arrival to departure, including fast-track immigration, baggage assistance, escorting to/from gates or lounges and connecting them with their designated professional drivers (Blacklane). The main role of this position is to provide excellent guest service throughout their dining experience, from greetings all the way to bidding farewell.
Job Responsibilities
- Passenger Assistance: Welcome and assist clients upon arrival, departure, or during transit through the airport.
- Fast-Track Services: Expedite clients through check-in, security, and immigration using priority lanes where available.
- Escort Services: Accompany clients to and from gates, lounges, or baggage claim areas.
- Baggage Handling: Coordinate with porters and assist with luggage retrieval and drop-off.
- Liaison Duties: Communicate with airline staff, ground handling teams, security, and customs officers to facilitate services.
- VIP Service Delivery: Provide a discreet, professional, and courteous experience tailored to high-end travelers and corporate clients.
- Blacklane Assistance: Set up the kiosk and signage in the arrivals area to be visible to passengers and guide them appropriately to their designated drivers.
- Problem Resolution: Handle travel-related concerns such as delays, lost luggage, or last-minute changes with efficiency and care.
- Coordination: Confirm arrangements with clients, travel agents, or personal assistants prior to service delivery.
- Other related responsibilities and special or ad hoc projects, as assigned.
Job Requirements
Qualifications Required:
- Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or airport services preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Valid airport security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Must have Smart Choices Certificate
- Strong sense of customer service, attention to detail
- Communication and writing skills
- Good organizational skills, self-motivated and positive attitude
- Ability to prioritize and problem solving ability
- Multilingual skills are an asset. (eg. Cantonese & Mandarin in YVR/ French in YUL)
- Able to obtain Transport Canada clearance for security pass (RAIC) to work at the airport.
- Bilingual French/English is a strong asset (required for Quebec employees)
Working Conditions:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
- Must be flexible to work weekdays/weekends and statutory holidays.
- Must be available to work flexible shifts early morning/day/evening shifts
