Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Pre-Sales Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience in the data security, passwordless, and identity access management (IAM) field. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background coupled with excellent communication skills to effectively engage with clients, understand their requirements, and provide tailored solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the success of our organization in delivering innovative security solutions.

Responsibilities:

Engage with prospective clients to understand their unique business needs, challenges, and security requirements.
Act as a subject matter expert on data security, passwordless authentication, and identity access management solutions.
Conduct technical presentations, demonstrations, and workshops to showcase the capabilities and benefits of our products.
Collaborate with the sales team to develop comprehensive proposals and solutions that address client requirements.
Provide technical guidance and support throughout the sales cycle, including product evaluations, proof-of-concepts, and implementation planning.
Assist in responding to technical inquiries, RFPs, and RFIs in a timely and accurate manner.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including IT professionals, security architects, and C-level executives.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings to effectively position our solutions in the market.
Assist in the development of sales collateral, technical documentation, and training materials for internal teams and customers.
Act as a liaison between the sales, product, and engineering teams to communicate customer feedback and requirements effectively.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
3 to 5 years of experience in a pre-sales engineering or solutions consulting role, preferably in the data security, passwordless authentication, or IAM domain.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, including access control, authentication protocols, encryption, and identity management.
Hands-on experience with relevant technologies such as identity providers (IdPs), single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), privileged access management (PAM), and identity federation.
Proficiency in presenting technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Preferably experienced in solutions selling.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, conferences, and industry events.
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent are a plus.
