The Opportunity
The Jr. Financial Analyst will work alongside, and is a valued member of a fast-pasted, high-performing investment sales team. Working under moderate supervision, conducts advanced real estate and market analyses. Prepares financial models to evaluate various types of real estate investments, conducts research and assists with the preparation of presentations; analyzes financial data, contracts and economic and real estate market trends.
The selected candidate can juggle competing priorities aand deadlines and demonstrate diligence and professionalism. The selected candidate is accountable and can take ownership of their work in a high-impact role.
Responsibilities :
Assist in the development and detailed financial modeling of complex real estate transactions using Excel.
Assist in drafting financial sections of pitch materials, information memoranda and power point presentations.
Assists in the preparation of high-quality marketing materials to support asset dispositions including detailed written summaries of location, physical, demographic, and financial attributes.
Assists in the population and management of web-based virtual data rooms for investment sale offerings.
Prepare market overviews, market reports, surveys, and research-driven presentations Conduct thorough due diligence on real estate investments including assessment of legal, physical, and financial risks.
Prepare financial models used to evaluate all types of hotels, seniors housing and healthcare real estate investments. Interact with team leaders with respect to underwriting issues.
Liaise with appraisers, client-side financial analysts and ownership groups to obtain property information and market data to support underwriting and transaction due diligence
Compile, evaluate, and analyze a variety of underwriting materials, financial documents and indicators such as investment returns, revenue projections, rent rolls, operating statements, property tax assessments, property contracts, technical documents (e.g. engineering and environmental assessments), utility invoices, debt financing, title searches, capital expenditures, financial statements, etc. requiring advanced expertise.
Assist with special ad-hoc projects, presentations and initiatives as assigned.
Performs other duties as assigned.
What We Require
Experience and/or strong interest in commercial real estate and hotels, seniors housing and healthcare real estate industry
Strong written and oral communication skills
Highly advanced financial and analytical skills (or else exceptionally strong potential for development)
1 -2 years of relevant work experience, preferred
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
Foundational understanding of core commercial real estate valuation concepts is required, including NOI, cap rates, discounted cash flows, and return metrics
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year university preferably in economics, quantitative finance, or accounting; CA CFA CBV would be an asset
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The salary being offered for this position is $75,000-$85,000 annually. This role will provide the following benefits: generous paid time off, Group Retirement Program, Medical, Dental and Vision coverage, Life Insurance and more.
