Full job description

Join our team at Beaches Health Group, an integrated health & wellness clinic in The Beaches neighbourhood of Toronto. We pride ourselves on our professional, rehabilitative focused and collaborative care that connects patients with a strong team of physiotherapists, chiropractors, acupuncturists, naturopaths and massage therapists in the same space.

We are passionate about helping people function optimally and reduce pain and dysfunction. We are looking for an administrator who will create a warm and welcoming environment and consistently deliver extraordinary service to our patients.

Our ideal candidate is professional, enthusiastic, and friendly. Prior experience as a receptionist or administrative role is ideal. Any experience in medical terminology and communication is preferred but not required. The candidate should be highly collaborative and able to work in a fast-paced environment, enjoying interacting with patients in person, on the phone and through email. The candidate should feel comfortable with problem solving and able to quickly learn computer and EMR systems, direct billing, WSIB and MVA claims.

The role will involve booking consultations, greeting patients, checking patients in and out, accompanying patients to treatment rooms, treatment room preparation, product sales, payment processing, direct billing, referral processing, booking appointments, WSIB/MVA billing and dealing with patient inquiries via phone, email, and website. The ideal candidate would have experience in medical reception and open to learning Jane electronic medical records (EMR). We are currently open Monday-Saturday and hours and are looking for someone available 3-5 shifts per week.
