Job Summary

We’re looking for a motivated and hands-on Store Supervisor to support our on-site Starbucks location at Hotel X Toronto. As a Store Supervisor, you will assist the store manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts, and deliver an exceptional customer service experience in a fast-paced hotel setting.

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead by example to deliver customer service and maintain a positive in-store experience.
Manage scheduling, inventory and ordering supplies efficiently.
Assess customer complaints/problems taking proper, prompt, and effective corrective action to ensure customer satisfaction.
Contributes to positive team environment by recognizing alarms or changes in partner morale and performance and communicating them to the store manager.
Assists with new partner training by positively reinforcing successful performance and giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed.
Follows all cash management and cash register policies and ensures proper cash management practices are followed by shift team.
Provides feedback to store manager on partner performance during shift.
Supporting and enforcing all hotel and Starbucks operating policies and procedures.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environment aligned with hotel expectations.
Performs other tasks assigned by Management.

$22.00/hour

Qualifications:

3 years retail / customer service management experience.
Minimum High School or GED.
Consistently maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
Energetic and outgoing, with a positive attitude, driven to provide an outstanding customer service experience.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to coach and mentor with professional maturity.
Must have excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills and must be able to interact with all levels of associates and customers in a professional and cordial manner.
Excellent organizational, computer, analytical, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work full time (the work regularly demands in excess of 40 hours per week) including variable hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends and/ or holidays.
