Full job description

Please note this candidate will be seeing both paediatrics and adult clients

FunctionAbility is looking for a Paediatrics/Adults Psychologist to join a busy inter-disciplinary practice in the GTA. This position involves comprehensive psychological assessments primarily for individuals who have been injured in motor vehicle collisions and who are experiencing psychological, cognitive, behavioural and psycho-emotional impairment. Treatment will be required with identified clients. Candidates will have the opportunity to collaborate with and supervise a team of Masters Level Social Workers/Psychotherapists on occasion.

This would be a good fit for someone looking to take on additional work.

What do you need to be successful?

Be licensed for autonomous practice with the College of Psychologists of Ontario;
Possess training and experience in evidence-based modalities of psychotherapy;
Have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills;
Completion of a Doctoral Degree or Masters Degree in Psychology from an accredited institution recognized by the Province of Ontario;
Membership in good standing with the College of Psychologists of Ontario;
You are client centered and enjoy collaborating with a multidisciplinary team;
You have a valid Drivers Licence and access to a vehicle; and
Minimum of 2 years experience working with the paediatrics population
