Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Tutor to support students in developing their language and academic skills. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and possess strong communication ability in French. This role involves providing personalized tutoring sessions to help students improve their understanding of various subjects, particularly language learning and writing skills. The Tutor will play a vital role in fostering a positive learning environment and inspiring students to achieve their academic goals.

Responsibilities

Conduct one-on-one or group tutoring sessions focused on language acquisition, writing skills, and academic subjects.
Develop customized lesson plans tailored to each student’s learning style and needs.
Support students in improving their speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension skills in French
Assist students with homework assignments and exam preparation.
Create engaging and interactive learning activities that motivate students to participate actively.
Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to both students and parents/guardians.
Maintain a positive, encouraging classroom environment that promotes confidence and enthusiasm for learning.
Stay updated on best tutoring practices and incorporate innovative teaching methods.

Qualifications

Proven experience working in an educational setting; classroom experience is preferred.
Fluency in English and French
Strong writing skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
Passion for teaching and helping students succeed academically.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate diverse learners.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
Prior tutoring or teaching experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided if necessary.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
