Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Roofer/Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems while assisting with various construction tasks. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in roofing, carpentry, and general labour work within a fast-paced environment. Your energy and attention to detail will contribute directly to delivering high-quality results on every project.

Responsibilities

Assist with the installation and repair of roofing materials using hand tools and power tools
Perform heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, plywood, metal sheets, and insulation components
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation
Use caulking guns to seal joints and prevent leaks effectively
Support carpentry tasks related to framing, sheathing, or other structural work as needed
Maintain a clean and safe work site by organizing tools, disposing of debris, and following safety protocols
Help with general labour duties including loading/unloading materials and assisting skilled tradespeople

Experience

Prior construction experience or hands-on work in a building environment preferred
Familiarity with hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, wrenches, and measuring tapes
Experience in carpentry or handyman work is advantageous
Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings is a plus
Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or working at heights
Basic knowledge of caulking techniques for sealing applications
