Full job description

This position is for our Truro store's parts department.

Tidal Tractor is a proud Nova Scotia owned company that has grown over the past 5 years to 4 locations (Port Williams/Truro/Dartmouth/Moncton).

Duties:
- Assist customers in finding the right parts and accessories for their Agricultural and/or Heavy equipment
- Provide excellent customer service by answering inquiries and resolving issues
- Maintain inventory of parts and accessories, ensuring accurate stock levels
- Process customer orders and handle cash transactions
- Utilize POS system to track sales and manage inventory
- Collaborate with sales team to meet sales targets and goals
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers
- Maintain a clean and organized parts department

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a parts advisor or similar role preferred

-background in agriculture or heavy equipment given preference
- Strong sales management skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
- Proficient in cash handling and cashiering procedures
- Familiarity with CDK business operating system is a plus
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
