270 West is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and execution-focused Marketing Operations & Communications Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing initiatives across the organization.
This role serves as the operational hub between leadership, external agencies, event partners, sales teams, and internal stakeholders. The person in the role ensures marketing programs are executed efficiently, communications are delivered consistently, and performance is measured effectively.
The ideal candidate is equal parts project manager, communications specialist, marketing coordinator, and systems thinker.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Operations & Project Management
· Own and maintain the integrated marketing calendar
· Coordinate marketing initiatives across internal teams and external partners
· Manage campaign timelines and project deliverables
· Track deadlines, dependencies, and resource requirements
· Ensure alignment between marketing, sales, operations, and leadership teams
· Maintain marketing documentation, SOPs, and asset libraries
· Support campaign launch planning and execution
Social Media & Content Execution
· Develop and maintain the organic social media content calendar
· Coordinate content creation across internal and external contributors
· Publish and schedule content across social platforms
· Monitor engagement and community interactions
· Track content performance and recommend optimization opportunities
· Ensure brand consistency across all channels
Email Marketing & Client Journey Communications
· Serve as the internal subject matter expert for Mailchimp
· Build and manage email campaigns, newsletters, and nurture programs
· Create audience segmentation strategies
· Develop and optimize customer journey communications
· Manage automated workflows and drip campaigns
· Conduct A/B testing and performance analysis
· Monitor database quality and list management
Sponsorship & Event Marketing Coordination
· Manage sponsorship fulfillment requirements
· Coordinate event logistics and marketing deliverables
· Liaise with event partners and vendors
· Track event schedules and activation requirements
· Ensure booth materials, collateral, and promotional assets are delivered
· Support post-event reporting and lead follow-up processes
Vendor & Agency Management
· Coordinate activities across marketing agencies, consultants, and partners
· Monitor deliverables, timelines, and service levels
· Support quarterly business reviews
· Ensure vendor accountability and performance tracking
· Facilitate communication between partners and internal stakeholders
Internal Communications
· Support executive communications initiatives
· Prepare materials for town halls and employee communications
· Assist with presentation development for leadership
· Coordinate company announcements and internal campaigns
· Ensure messaging consistency across internal audiences
Reporting, Insights & Analytics
· Develop monthly marketing performance reports
· Track campaign KPIs and marketing effectiveness
· Monitor social, email, event, and website performance
· Support analysis of paid media performance
· Assist in gathering customer and market insights
· Provide recommendations based on data and trends
Budget & Administrative Management
· Track marketing budgets and expenditures
· Manage invoice processing and vendor payments
· Monitor budget utilization against plans
· Maintain marketing procurement records
· Support annual planning and forecasting activities
Qualifications
· 3–7 years of experience in marketing operations, marketing coordination, communications, or project management
· Experience managing content calendars and social media platforms
· Strong knowledge of Mailchimp or similar marketing automation platforms
· Experience coordinating multiple projects simultaneously
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
· Experience working with agencies and external vendors
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
· Experience with CRM systems and reporting tools preferred

Pay: $60.00-$70,000.00 per year
