Job Overview

We are seeking a few dedicated and detail-oriented part-time or full-time Line Cooks/Prep Cooks to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by preparing high-quality dishes and supporting the overall food service process. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent food handling skills, and experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and contribute to creating a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Cook menu items with attention to quality, presentation, and timely delivery
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met
Support kitchen staff during busy hours by efficiently managing multiple tasks
Ensure all food is stored properly and inventory levels are maintained
Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times to prevent cross-contamination and accidents

Requirements

Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality presentation
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays as needed
Serving experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
