Clinical Pharmacist – New Westminster, BC

Our client partners with physician specialists across British Columbia to support patients through coordinated pharmacotherapy and medication access services. Their work goes beyond the dispensary—focusing on collaboration, innovation, and improved outcomes for patients with complex care needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or for someone early in their pharmacy career to step into a collaborative, patient-focused role from the outset. Our team-based environment is designed to support continuous learning, provide exposure to specialist care, and help you build confidence as you grow into your clinical practice—beyond the traditional dispensary setting.

What You’ll Do:

Collaborate with physician specialists to initiate and monitor treatment plans.
Coordinate with Patient Support Programs and dispensing pharmacies to streamline drug access and follow-up care.
Assist with documentation related to drug access navigation, including medical clearance forms and standing orders where applicable.
Participate in interdisciplinary case conferences to align treatment plans across multiple providers.
Use Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to document clinical findings and identify relevant clinical factors tied to the patient’s treatment plan.
Review medical histories in relation to the patient’s primary concerns and ongoing conditions.
Provide education to patients regarding treatment plans, medication use, and follow-up expectations.
Maintain confidentiality and safeguard patient health information in accordance with professional standards.
Contribute ideas and feedback to help improve the company’s care coordination model as they continue to grow.

What Our Client is Looking For:

Licensed Pharmacist in good standing (or soon to be licensed) with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
Enthusiasm for collaboration and an interest in working as part of an interdisciplinary care team.
Strong foundation in evidence-based pharmacotherapy and comfort using tertiary clinical resources (e.g., UpToDate, Lexicomp, RxFiles).
Proficiency with common software tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Adobe Acrobat, EHR platforms).
Clear and compassionate written and verbal communication skills—most patient interactions are conducted remotely.
Previous experience in the BC healthcare system (through work, clinical rotations, or residency).
Bonus: Interest in specialties such as rhinology, respirology, immunology, neurology or dermatology.
