Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced team member to join our vibrant pizza restaurant! The ideal candidate will bring a passion for food service, a strong work ethic, and a dedication to providing exceptional customer experiences. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic environment where teamwork, efficiency, and quality are at the forefront. As an experienced employee, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation, and delivering outstanding service to our guests.

Duties

Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and freshness.
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, accurately processing orders, payments, and refunds while handling cash and credit transactions responsibly.
Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve customers promptly and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Assist with food handling procedures, adhering strictly to food safety regulations and sanitation protocols.
Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions about menu options, and resolving any concerns professionally.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, dining space, and equipment in compliance with health standards.

Experience

Proven food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment, preferably within the pizza or food industry.
Familiarity with cashiering duties using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of food preparation techniques, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations.
Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail.
Experience in serving customers with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
Basic math skills for cash handling, order calculations, and transaction accuracy.
Prior restaurant experience that highlights teamwork, multitasking abilities, and upselling skills is highly desirable.
