Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team processing aluminum parts for the marine industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC machinery, programming, and quality control. This role is essential for producing precision parts and components that meet our high standards of quality and efficiency. If you have an interest in CNC router operations and have a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Operate CNC routers , and press brake machines to produce high-quality components.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate machining.
Program CNC machines using sigmanest and CAD software such as SolidWorks.
Conduct quality control checks using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure specifications are met.
Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
Utilize hand tools and basic math skills for assembly and packaging tasks as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Skills

Proficiency in CNC programming and operation.
Experience operating forklifts and handling warehouse tasks.
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in manufacturing and machining processes.
Ability to read blueprints accurately and apply that knowledge in practical settings.
Competence in welding techniques is advantageous.
Experience with quality control processes to ensure product integrity.
Familiarity with basic math concepts for measurement and calculations in machining tasks.
Previous experience using SolidWorks or similar CAD software is preferred.
