Qualifications and Skills

DZ license
Clean driver abstract/CVOR preferred
Boom Truck/Hiab Crane experience is considered an asset
Ability to learn quickly and work efficiently with different people and teams
Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal)
Ability to work under minimal supervision in a high pressured, fast-paced environment
Strong Problem-Solving Skills
Team player, good attitude, and strong professionalism
Must be physically fit and able to climb up and down from the flatbed surface with ease and be able to lift a minimum of 50Ibs
Available for standard working hours typically 5:30 AM -3:30 PM Monday-to-Friday but flexible to work outside of these hours when required
Proven ability to work safely and be constantly alert & always aware of surroundings at all times: Job sites/roadways/yards continuously have continuously changing conditions and evolving hazards
Understand the importance of urgency and timeliness
Adhere to all safety rules and regulations
Familiar with downtown Toronto and GTA
Ability to use smartphones with various professional applications and follow all company processes

Responsibilities:

Timely Delivery/Pick-ups of Scaffold equipment, lumber, Materials to & from job multiple job sites & suppliers daily
Load/offload truck using Hiab Knuckle Boom with wireless remote
Work with Foremen/Labour Crews and/or Clients or other trades on sites to ensure the vehicle is safely loaded and all cargo is secure before transport.
Assure proper processes are followed
Accurate and timely completion of all driver paperwork is required (digitally).
Perform monthly Preventive maintenance inspections and ensure Truck/Hiab Boom is in good working order at all times
Perform Daily Circle checks and maintain required paperwork as per the MTO and company requirements
