Alpine Inn – Valemount, British Columbia

About Us

Alpine Inn is a welcoming 62-room highway-side motel located in the beautiful mountain community of Valemount, BC. Known for providing comfortable accommodations and friendly service, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hotel Manager to lead our team and ensure exceptional guest experiences while driving operational and financial success.

Position Details

Job Title: Hotel Manager
Location: Valemount, BC
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 per year (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance.
Drive revenue performance and manage operating budgets to meet financial targets.
Monitor key performance indicators such as occupancy, ADR (Average Daily Rate), RevPAR (Revenue per Available Room), and overall profitability.
Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and actively manage the hotel’s online reputation.
Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members.
Perform and coordinate routine repair and maintenance of hotel facilities.
Manage payroll and effectively control labor costs.
Build and maintain strong relationships within the local community and corporate market.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate brings both experience and passion to the role:

Minimum 3 years of hotel management experience.
Proven supervisory experience within the hotel industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire diverse teams.
Excellent customer service skills with a genuine focus on guest satisfaction.
Knowledge of human resources practices related to hiring, training, and team development.
Experience with budgeting and financial oversight.
Exceptional communication skills, including professional phone etiquette.
Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
A true passion for hospitality and commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
Need to be a citizen, permanent resident, or have a work permit.
