About Tea Tree Gardens

Tea Tree Gardens is a professional landscape maintenance and horticultural services company based in Vancouver, BC. We provide recurring garden and lawn care, hedge trimming, seasonal treatments, and skilled project work for residential clients. We use exclusively organic products, run over 50% electric tools, and operate small crews of 2-3 per vehicle on beautiful residential properties.

The Role

We're hiring Team Leads for our Maintenance Division. You'll run a crew of 2-3, own a route of residential properties, and be responsible for schedule execution, service quality, equipment care, and crew development. You're the person who makes sure the day runs smoothly, the work is done right, and your crew is growing.

This is a seasonal position running from February through mid-December.

What You'll Do

Run a crew of 2-3 people day-to-day, assign tasks, manage pace, ensure quality
Own a specific route of residential maintenance clients and complete the daily schedule on time
Serve as the first point of contact for client questions or concerns on your route
Train and develop Crew Members and Senior Crew Members through hands-on coaching
Accurately complete daily reports, time sheets, and material usage tracking
Manage equipment assigned to your crew, maintenance, storage, and damage reporting
Communicate professionally with clients on-site and redirect service scope questions appropriately
Provide input on crew composition and scheduling to Field Managers

What We're Looking For

1-2+ years of professional landscaping experience with prior crew leadership
Valid Class 5 driver's license (required)
Proven ability to manage a crew's time and complete a daily schedule independently
Strong plant knowledge, you understand seasonal care timing and can make pruning decisions
Professional client communication skills, you can handle on-site interactions with confidence
Reliable, organized, and accountable, your crew looks to you to set the standard
First Aid certification is an asset (company-funded if not held)

Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM: No weekends. Predictable schedule.

Small crews: Teams of 2-3 per vehicle. You lead a tight crew, not a sprawling operation.

EI-eligible off-season: Our 10.5-month season qualifies you for Employment Insurance during the winter break.
