Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires familiarity with dental office operations, electronic medical records, and multi-line phone systems to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and check them in upon arrival using Cleardent electronic medical records system.
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments accurately while managing the front desk operations.
Answer multi-line phone systems promptly, addressing patient inquiries and routing calls appropriately.
Verify patient insurance information and process payments efficiently.
Maintain organized patient records in compliance with privacy regulations.
Assist with administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and correspondence.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless office workflow and excellent patient care.
Manage appointment reminders and follow-up communications to enhance patient retention.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar dental or medical office role.
Proficiency with Cleardent dental practice management software.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care.
Experience handling electronic medical records (EMRs) and administrative tasks in a healthcare setting.
Excellent communication skills, including experience with multi-line phone systems and front desk management.
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Prior office experience, especially in healthcare or administrative roles, is highly desirable.
