Bus Painter

Location: Vancouver, BC
Company: Great Canadian Trolley - Gray Line Vancouver
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Contract (Flexible)

Great Canadian Trolley - Gray Line Vancouver is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Bus Painter to join our team. This position is responsible for preparing, repairing, and painting our fleet of trolley buses, mini-coaches, coach buses and other commercial vehicles to maintain a professional, high-quality appearance.

Responsibilities

Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming.
Repair dents, scratches, and surface imperfections before painting.
Apply primer and specialty finishes using professional spray-painting equipment.
Match paint colours and finishes accurately.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Follow all workplace safety procedures and environmental regulations.
Inspect completed work to ensure a high-quality finish.

Qualifications

Previous experience painting buses, commercial vehicles, trucks, or automobiles preferred.
Experience using spray guns and automotive painting equipment.
Knowledge of paint preparation, masking, sanding, and finishing techniques.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
Valid driver's licence is an asset.
