What will your typical day look like?
The successful candidate will provide research, analytic, modelling and writing support to the Deloitte Economics team for client reports, proposals, and various other Deloitte Economics publications and initiatives. Key responsibilities include:
Support the execution of Economic Advisory engagements by conducting research, quantitative analysis, modelling (Input-Output modelling, cost-benefit analysis, labour market analysis, macroeconomic forecasting, CGE modelling, etc.), and report writing
Analyze economic, labour market, demographic, industry and trade data using a variety of analytical tools and datasets
Assist with the creation of proposals and presentations to prospective clients by translating complex analysis into clear and actionable insights
Support the development of the Economic Advisory practice by supporting various business development, intellectual capital, thought leadership and marketing activities
lnteract with clients at all levels, including through interviews, presentations, workshops, and surveys

You are someone with:
Outstanding analytical, writing and communication capabilities and attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work with others
The ability to work in a fast-paced project environment under tight timelines
A master's degree in an economics related field
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in EViews and/or R
Experience collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data for economics or related projects
Due to the nature of the role having interactions with National & Global clients, bilingualism in French and English is required for this position in Montreal

Ottawa Location: Employees in the Ottawa Consulting practice will be required to obtain “reliability” and/or “Secret” level federal security clearances as a condition of their employment. To be eligible for a "Reliability" status you must have resided in Canada for the last five (5) years and for "Secret" level, the last ten (10) years
Total Rewards
The salary range for this position is $56,000 - $84,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
