Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and professional Bartender/Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and efficiently managing food and beverage orders. This role involves serving guests, mixing drinks, and ensuring a memorable dining experience while maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are preferred to ensure smooth operations and excellent guest interactions.

Responsibilities

Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of hospitality and customer service
Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly as per standard recipes
Ensure proper food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures are followed at all times
Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately during shifts
Assist in setting up the bar area before service begins and clean up after closing
Engage with guests to create a welcoming environment, addressing any special requests or concerns
Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and beverage offerings to assist guests effectively
Uphold food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy hours

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment preferred; hospitality background is a plus
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and orders efficiently
Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and change calculation
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
Must be personable, attentive, reliable, and able to work well within a team setting

Pay: $23.00-$23.66 per hour
