We are on a journey of continuous growth – now looking for our next star – a passionate Co-op - Project Manager Student. This position reports to the Program Manager and will work in Vancouver, B.C.
**Please note that this position is open to current students enrolled in a Canadian accredited university and co-op program.
Vancouver:
Dometic Marine’s headquarters are in Vancouver, British Columbia in Canada. The facility develops and manufactures hydraulic, electronic, and combustion-based products.
As Co-op - Project Manager on the Vancouver team, you will support Program Managers, engineering, manufacturing and quality teams throughout the full hardware development lifecycle. You’ll learn how products are built from the ground up while helping keep the team organized, aligned, and moving forward.
General Responsibilities
- Assist Program Managers with planning, scheduling, and tracking project activities
- Develop project management tracking tools and dashboards to keep projects on track and bring visibility to status
- Help coordinate cross functional meetings, and track follow up actions
- Support risk identification, mitigation tracking, and issues management
- Contribute to process improvements within the PMO
- Work with Mechanical, Electrical, Test, Quality, and Manufacturing stakeholders on day to day execution
- Participate in sprint planning, and team scrums

Skills & Requirements
The ideal candidate for this role will have acquired the following qualifications and experiences:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Engineering, Business or a related field
- Interest in hardware product development and technology
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Comfortable communicating with technical teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and project tools
- Enthusiasm, curiosity, and willingness to ask questions and learn
To be successful in this role, we believe that you possess the following skills, competencies & characteristics:
- Experience with technical environments (labs, design teams, or engineering courses)
- Exposure to bill of materials (BOMs) or product lifecycle concepts
- Basic understanding of mechanical/electrical systems

Salary range: $23.50 - $27.50 CAD per hour
