Full job description

We are looking for an experienced Service & Maintenance Plumber / Gas Fitter to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their work and takes pride in delivering exceptional service to customers.

This position offers exposure to a wide range of building maintenance, repair, and installation projects. Candidates must have plumbing and HVAC service experience in high-rise and low-rise buildings as a well as strong understanding of how plumbing and HVAC systems work.

Our work is primarily performed in strata and multi-unit residential buildings throughout the Tri-Cities, Burnaby, New Westminster, and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnosing and repair commercial and residential plumbing systems
Install, service, and maintain gas systems and equipment
Perform drain cleaning and troubleshooting
Complete boiler, hot water system, and heat pump installations and repairs
Conduct preventative maintenance inspections
Troubleshoot building mechanical systems
Respond to service calls and emergency repairs as required
Deliver exceptional client service
Communicate professionally with building managers, property managers, concierges, and residents
Prepare clear service documentation and recommendations
Ensure all work is completed safely, professionally, and in compliance with applicable codes and regulations

Qualifications

Red Seal Journeyperson Plumber Certification
Gas B Certification
Backflow Prevention Certification
Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record
Minimum 5 years of plumbing experience
Plumbing and HVAC service experience in high-rise and low-rise buildings needed
Must have very good understanding of how plumbing and HVAC systems work
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong customer service and communication skills
Experience working in commercial and multi-unit residential buildings
Gas A Certification is an asset but not necessary

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $35.00-$55.00 per hour
