Master PPF Installer
Position Summary
The Vinyl / PPF Installer is responsible for the professional installation of vinyl wraps, paint protection film (PPF), and ceramic coatings on vehicles. This role requires a high level of precision, attention to detail, and craftsmanship to ensure quality finishes that meet company standards. The Installer works both independently and as part of a team to deliver consistent, high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities
- Install vinyl wraps, paint protection film (PPF), and ceramic coatings on vehicle surfaces
- Prepare vehicles for installation by washing, cleaning, and properly preparing panels
- Operate PPF plotting and cutting equipment to produce accurate film patterns
- Apply films and coatings according to manufacturer specifications and company procedures
- Conduct post-installation quality inspections, ensuring proper alignment, finish, adhesion, and absence of defects such as bubbles or edge lifts
- Remove existing vinyl, PPF, or coatings when required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Adhere to company quality, safety, and operational standards
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in vinyl wrap, PPF, and ceramic coating installation
- Demonstrated ability to perform precise and detail-oriented work
- Valid Class 5 (or equivalent) driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude
- Willingness to learn and develop advanced installation and coating techniques
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to squat, kneel, bend, and perform repetitive motions
- Ability to handle manual tasks associated with vehicle preparation and installation
