Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Montessori preschool teacher to inspire young learners in a vibrant early childhood education environment. As a Montessori teacher, you will foster a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating classroom that promotes independence, curiosity, and a love for learning. Your role is vital in guiding children through their developmental milestones using proven Montessori methods that emphasize hands-on learning and individualized instruction. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while working in a collaborative and supportive team.

Duties

Design and implement engaging daily lesson plans aligned with Montessori principles to support children's cognitive, social, and emotional development
Facilitate a prepared classroom environment that encourages exploration, independence, and respect for each child's unique learning pace
Observe and assess individual progress, maintaining detailed records of developmental milestones and learning achievements
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to foster a positive learning community
Support children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education accommodations or working with individuals with disabilities
Use computer skills to document student progress, prepare educational materials, and manage classroom activities efficiently
Maintain organized classroom environments that adhere to safety standards and promote optimal learning experiences
Lead by example in demonstrating leadership qualities such as patience, adaptability, and proactive communication
Manage time effectively to balance instructional duties, assessments, and classroom management tasks

Experience

Candidate to hold ECE or EEA and montessori training with first aid.

Prior experience working with children in early childhood education or preschool settings is highly preferred
Experience implementing Montessori teaching methods or similar child-centered educational approaches is advantageous
Demonstrated experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs enhances your candidacy
Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—are essential for effective collaboration with families and colleagues
Proficiency in computer operation for record-keeping, lesson planning, and communication tools is required
Proven organizational skills to manage classroom materials, schedules, and documentation efficiently
Leadership experience in educational settings will be considered a valuable asset
