This role is a critical part of a dynamic team that works with all areas and levels of the business. We build reports that drive change and impact to pre-hospital care that save lives.
As a Project Coordinator with BCEHS, you’ll play a hands-on role supporting all reporting aspects of BCEHS's strategic and operational reporting. You will additionally support evaluation functionalities such as providing input, assisting in drafting documentation and doing some analysis. This work supports projects that improve how care is delivered and accessed across the province.
What you’ll do
You’ll be at the centre of a variety of reports and projects, helping drive decision making at the highest levels. Your work will include:
- Leading the collection, assembling, organizing and review of various reporting updates from all levels of the business to internal and external stakeholder groups.
- Working within restrictive timelines to interpret and translate corporate speak to more common language with advanced communication skills.
- Reaching out for new information and request updates when required with executive leadership for reports that impact company decisions and financial funding.
- Identifying, collecting, and analyzing relevant information relating to current reports and evaluations. Providing input and recommendations to the Senior Manager, Reporting and Evaluation, and project/program team for development, implementation, analysis and policy/practice implications.
- Coordinating the execution of evaluations, assuring they are done in an efficient manner, that they adhere to evaluation frameworks, conform to applicable institutional and ethical policies and procedures and privacy legislation, and that they are completed within the required timelines.
- Actively updating and drafting documentation related to project evaluations.
- Providing assistance to evaluation projects within the Department; liaising with external partners; developing surveys using web-based survey software; supporting special initiatives and other leaders.
- Working with internal teams, clinical leaders, and external partners across BC
- Gathering and analyzing information to inform decisions and strengthen outcomes
You’ll balance multiple reports at once, adapting to a dynamic environment where priorities can shift, but the impact is always clear.
Qualifications
- A level of education, training and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree plus five (5) years recent related experience or equivalent work-related experience.
- Knowledge of research, quality improvement and clinical practices relevant to the service/program area; health systems and policy; and knowledge exchange.
- Understanding of and practical skills in project coordination/management, research and evaluation.
- Relevant computer software applications include desktop publishing, web content management, accreditation portal software at an advanced level; internet search engines, websites, and navigation; funding structures and application processes; training and education; policy review and analysis; and facilitation, community development, and partnerships.
- Related experience in conducting literature searches and reviews, best practice reviews, policy analysis, working collaboratively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholder groups.
- Qualities including creativity and innovation; sound judgment; tact and diplomacy; ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a demanding and dynamic environment; sound negotiation, conflict management and consensus-building skills; excellent oral and written communications skills.

Typical Hiring Range: $63,484 - $79,355
The starting salary for this position would be determined with consideration of the successful candidate’s relevant education and experience and would be in alignment with the provincial compensation reference plan.
