Full job description

We are a family owned company that has been established for over 43 years and we want you to join our team! We have grown and expanded into a newer larger facility in the Bridgeview district of Surrey.

The Office Administrator will work directly with the sales team and President. Providing sales and administrative support; this is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company and start your office administrative career!

This is a full time permanent position and we are easily accessible via transit.

Daily duties and responsibilities:

· Answering the telephone and directing phone calls.

· Preparing shipping documents, packing slips, material certifications, and invoices

· Scheduling pick-ups and deliveries

· Greeting customers or courier drivers and assisting them in picking up or dropping off goods

· Scanning and filing documents while maintaining the filing system

· Data Entry such as entering receipts and purchasing invoices

· Reconciling accounts

· Liaise and serve as point of contact for uniform supplier

· Making various payments to vendors

· Maintaining inventory levels in shop consumable room (i.e PPE, office items, or maintenance parts)

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

Skills:

· Can communicate effectively, both verbal and written

· Have a strong professional customer service phone presence

· Superior ability to multi-task, prioritizes work, and meets deadlines

· Punctual, committed, pro-active, self-motivated, and accountable

· Possess a talent to provide excellent customer service in person and on the phone

Qualifications:

· Experience using Simply Accounting (Sage 50) is an asset

· Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is a must.

· Completion of Secondary School. Post secondary classes are a plus
