Job Overview

Join our vibrant team as a Salon Manager Assistant, where your energetic spirit and passion for beauty will help create an exceptional experience for clients and staff alike. In this dynamic role, you will support the salon manager in daily operations, ensuring smooth service delivery, maintaining a welcoming environment, and boosting client satisfaction. Your proactive approach and excellent communication skills will be key to fostering a positive atmosphere that encourages repeat business and team collaboration. Duties

Greet clients warmly upon arrival, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable from the moment they walk in
Assist with scheduling appointments and managing the front desk to optimize salon flow and reduce wait times
Support hair stylists with sanitation procedures, tool sterilization, and maintaining cleanliness standards throughout the salon
Promote retail products and upsell services to enhance client experiences and increase revenue opportunities
Handle client inquiries professionally via phone or in person, providing detailed information about services offered
Coordinate with stylists to ensure timely service delivery and manage daily operational tasks efficiently
Maintain accurate records of appointments, sales transactions, and client preferences to foster personalized service

Qualifications

Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
Experience or interest in hair styling or beauty services is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
Knowledge of sanitation standards and procedures within a salon environment
Ability to upsell retail products confidently while prioritizing client needs
Proven organizational skills with attention to detail in managing appointments and records
Prior experience at a front desk or in retail sales is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided
