Overview

Join our vibrant team as a Cashier/Barista, where you'll be the friendly face that greets customers and the skilled professional crafting their favorite beverages. You'll play a vital part in delivering a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring smooth transactions, and preparing delicious drinks that keep our guests coming back for more. Duties

Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit
Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Square to process transactions accurately and efficiently
Handle cash, credit card payments, and food handling with precision and integrity
Prepare a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and light snacks following established recipes and food safety standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station, coffee prep area, and dining space
Manage food preparation tasks including assembling orders and ensuring food safety protocols are followed
Assist in serving customers at the counter or seating area, ensuring a positive experience at all times

Experience

Previous experience working as a barista or in food service is preferred, demonstrating knowledge of beverage preparation and customer interaction
Familiarity with POS systems such as Square or similar platforms for efficient transaction processing
Strong time management skills to handle busy periods while maintaining quality service
Experience in cash handling, cashiering, and basic math to ensure accurate transactions and change management
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures to uphold health standards
Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service in fast-paced environments
Food industry experience that highlights your ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail
