BW Gold is a wholly owned subsidiary of Artemis Gold Inc (“Artemis”). Artemis Gold is a well-financed, growth-oriented gold development company with a strong financial capacity aimed at creating shareholder value through the identification, acquisition, and development of gold properties in mining-friendly jurisdictions. The Company's current focus is the Blackwater Mine in central British Columbia approximately 160km southwest of Prince George and 450km northeast of Vancouver. Location: Prince George or Vancouver Office, with occasional site visits required to liase with site Human Resources, and to be able to connect with various project-based hiring managers.

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Human Resources Superintendent, Capital Projects, the Recruiter is responsible for leading full-cycle recruitment for the Capital Projects and Earthworks teams.
Preference will be given to candidates residing in Prince George or Vancouver areas, as the successful candidate will be expected to work primarily office-based, on a Monday to Friday schedule. Occasional travel to the Blackwater Mine site, will be expected.
Working closely with Hiring Managers and the site-based Capital Projects Human Resources team, the Recruiter must understand current and future workforce needs, build talent pipelines, identify innovative sourcing opportunities, and deliver efficient, high-quality hiring processes - including complete pre-screening, onboarding and offboarding steps.
- Demonstrate strong safety leadership by promoting and adhering to BW Gold's safety standards, procedures, and systems.

Lead full-cycle recruitment for site and corporate positions, including creating position descriptions, job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checks, coordinating the offer process, drafting offer letters, and working with HR and hiring leaders to finalize compensation, rotation schedules, and start dates.

Partner with operational leaders to understand current and future workforce needs, and provide guidance on hiring decisions that support departmental and operational objectives.

Source and execute recruitment tactics to attract qualified candidates across a variety of technical, trades, operational, and professional roles.

Develop proactive recruitment initiatives to support future workforce planning, succession planning, and anticipated hiring demands across the project life-cycle.

Support BW Gold's commitment to local, Indigenous, and diverse hiring by building relationships with communities, organizations, educational institutions, and employment agencies, while promoting inclusive recruitment practices.

Act as a support to hiring managers by providing interview guidance, and best practices to support effective hiring decisions.

Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication and professional representation of BW Gold throughout the recruitment process.

Act as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle and coordinate onboarding activities to ensure a successful transition to site.

Maintain accurate recruitment records and reporting within iCIMS (Applicant Tracking Software) and other HR systems, including weekly recruitment updates, monthly Indigenous recruitment reporting, vacancy tracking, and other recruitment metrics.

Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives related to recruitment processes, systems, candidate experience, and talent attraction strategies to support the ongoing development of BW Gold's recruitment function.

Support employer branding initiatives that promote BW Gold as an employer of choice within the mining industry and local communities.

Attend career fairs and recruitment events and travel to the Blackwater Mine site ocaasionally.

Perform other related duties as required.

May be required to maintain a clean-shaven appearance (i.e. no facial hair) to ensure the safe and effective use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) associated with assigned duties.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.

A CPHR (Chartered Professional in Human Resources) designation, or actively working toward it, is preferred.

3 to 5+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, specifically within mining, heavy construction, oil and gas, or heavy industrial sectors is required.

Proven history sourcing talent for Fly-In, Fly-Out (FIFO) or Drive-In, Drive-Out (DIDO) camp environments is required.

Strong understanding of technical mine operations. Must have past demonstrated past experience in sourcing specialized roles for a major industrial construction and expansion project, ideally in mining.

Must have advanced proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS software, and platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter.

Must have past demonstrated past examples of the ability to rigorously assess a candidate's commitment to safety, checking for mandatory certifications.
