Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Pool Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves maintaining and servicing swimming pools to ensure they are clean, safe, and functioning efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience with pool equipment, landscaping, and general maintenance tasks, contributing to the overall aesthetic and safety of our outdoor environments. This position offers an opportunity to work outdoors and develop expertise in pool care, horticulture, and landscape maintenance.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning and chemical balancing of swimming pools to maintain water quality standards
Inspect and service pool equipment such as pumps, filters, and chlorinators
Conduct repairs or replacements of pool components using hand tools and power tools
Assist with landscaping tasks including gardening, irrigation system maintenance, and landscape upkeep
Operate construction or excavation equipment such as excavators when necessary for pool renovations or installations
Maintain the surrounding area by trimming plants, managing soil conditions, and ensuring proper drainage
Monitor safety protocols around pool areas and ensure compliance with health regulations
Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and report any issues requiring further attention

Qualifications

Experience with mechanical systems related to pools
Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and basic construction or maintenance machinery safely
Training will be provided
Valid Quebec drivers license

Rémunération : à partir de 18,00$ par heure
