En tant que boulanger, vos principales tâches sont de produire des beignets et des produits de boulangerie exceptionnels de haute qualité dans un environnement de cuisine à grande capacité, et de garantir que tous nos produits sont disponibles pendant la plus grande partie de la journée.
PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILITÉS ·
Réalisation de pâte levée, de levain, de scones, de brioches à la cannelle, de crèmes pâtissières, de caillé, de garnitures aux fruits, de pâte à choux et de glaçages. ·
Maintient un environnement de travail propre et organisé ·
Fabrique des produits pour les précommandes. ·
Communique avec le personnel de réception concernant les précommandes et la production ·
Aide à compter les stocks et à commander des produits. ·
Prépare la zone de travail avant un quart de travail. ·
Membre actif et productif de l'ensemble de l'équipe du Café. ·
Désinfecte les zones de préparation des aliments tel que déterminé par HACCP et la politique de l'entreprise · Connaît la procédure de sécurité de la cuisine et l'emplacement de tous les formulaires d'enregistrement HACCP
· Promouvoir et célébrer notre culture. *D'autres tâches et projets spéciaux peuvent être assignés de temps à autre.
QUALIFICATIONS ·
Diplôme d'études secondaires ·
Diplôme culinaire ou pâtissier (un atout)
Certification de sécurité alimentaire 1 an d'expérience professionnelle similaire
SUMMARY
As a Baker, your main duties are to produce high quality, exceptional doughnuts and baked goods in a high-capacity kitchen environment, and ensure all of our products are available for as much of the day as possible.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Making yeast dough, sourdough, scones, cinnamon buns, pastry creams, curds, fruit fillings, choux pastry and glazes.
· Maintains a clean and organized working environment
· Produces products for pre-orders.
· Communicates with the front of house staff regarding pre-orders and production
· Assists with counting inventory and ordering products.
· Preps work area in advance of a production shift.
· Active and productive member of the overall Café team.
· Sanitizes food preparation areas as determined by HACCP and company policy
· Is aware of kitchen safety procedure, and the location of all HACCP record forms
· Promotes and celebrates our culture.
*Other duties and special projects may be assigned from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS
· High school Diploma
· Culinary or Pastry Diploma (An asset)
- Food Safe Certification
- 1 Year of similar work experience
Soft Skills:
- VERY passionate about coffee, and food
- Knowledge of specialty coffee, coffee trends and café operations
- Attention to detail, able to present digestible information effectively
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively to achieve results
- Interest and desire to work in the specialty coffee, food industry
- Ability to build strong internal working relationships and be an effective communicator
