Job Responsibilities:

Issue requests for quotes/proposals and select best source consistent with cost, quality and delivery requirements. Negotiate and manage long term pricing agreements on critical commodities
Complete purchase requests with domestic and international suppliers by inputting purchase orders, expediting deliveries, and verifying all transactions
Handle correspondence concerning over-shipments, delivery shortages, changes in quantity, delivery dates, and prices and report such changes to the interested parties in a timely manner as required.
Act as a liaison between suppliers and involved departments to resolve procurement related problems.
Maintain appropriate inventory levels consistent with targeted inventory goals and as set by management. Provide consistent, visible, timely and effective communication; follow ups of team goals and objectives.
Maintain accuracy of stock code information, including lead-time, pricing, current supplier information, current purchase order data, etc.
Assist in the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS) for all functions.
Follow all procedures in compliance of AST standard policy and operation regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Required education: Bachelor in Supply Chain, Sales OR Computer related education
Experienced working in manufacturing industry and production/package supply; Candidates with sales and purchasing experience are preferred.
Having a sourcing + buyer potential
Proven negotiation, cost analysis, and vendor management skills
Excellent communication and coordination skills across teams and departments;
Required skills: intermediate level of using MS-Excel, strong verbal and written skills in English and Chinese
Passionate and interested in the computer industry
Self-motivated
Good at data analysis
Willing to work over time

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
