Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior bookkeeper and office assistant to join our team . This role is vital in supporting our financial operations and ensuring smooth office functions, contributing to our company's mission of excellence and sustainability.
Responsibilities

Manage daily bookkeeping supporting the senior bookkeeper tasks using accounting software QuickBooks,
Assist with payroll processing and employee record maintenance.
Create invoices
Review work orders for completion
Handle accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately.
Reconcile bank statements and perform account analysis.
Support budgeting processes and financial reporting.
Maintain organized financial records in compliance with company policies.
Collaborate with external accountants during audits and tax preparations.
Co-ordinate bookkeeping with scheduling of technicians
Provide general administrative support to the office team.
Assit with scheduling of service technicians
Qualifications
Proven experience and education with accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial reconciliation.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude.
Prior experience in payroll processing is a plus.
Knowledge of budgeting processes is advantageous.
This is a 4 month contract leading to full time employment
