Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable drywall Laborer/Helper to join our construction team. This role involves assisting skilled tradespeople in various construction-related tasks, supporting project completion, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will have some experience or interest in construction, carpentry, or handyman work, and possess a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry while contributing to diverse projects.

Responsibilities

Assist with construction painting, carpentry, caulking, and other general labor tasks on-site
Support skilled workers by carrying materials, tools, and equipment to designated areas
Read and interpret blueprints and project plans under supervision
Perform basic handyman tasks as needed, including minor repairs and maintenance
Prepare work areas by cleaning, organizing supplies, and setting up necessary equipment
Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment for all team members
Support project timelines by completing assigned tasks efficiently and accurately

Requirements

Prior experience or familiarity with construction painting, carpentry, caulking, or handyman work is preferred but not mandatory
Ability to read blueprints is a plus
Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
Reliable transportation and ability to commute to job sites
Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from experienced team members
Basic knowledge of safety procedures related to construction sites
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-oriented mindset

Pay: $17.85-$30.34 per hour
