Full job description

Mr. Baker’s Plumbing is a hardworking, honest, family-run plumbing company based in Sooke. We’re busy, growing, and looking to bring on the right person — someone we can train and grow with us long-term.

Plumbing experience is not required.
We care far more about attitude, reliability, and how you treat customers than what you already know.

Why We’re Hiring

We’re looking for someone to support our day-to-day workload, free up senior staff, and grow into a role where they can eventually handle certain jobs independently.

What You’ll Be Doing (Especially at the Start)

Riding along with us and learning how we do things
Assisting with residential and light commercial plumbing work
Keeping the work truck clean and organized
Helping track stock and materials
Providing general job-site support
Learning tools, systems, and customer service expectations

Over time, the goal is to train you to confidently handle certain jobs on your own.

We believe skills can be taught — attitude cannot.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license (required)
Physically capable of hands-on work
Comfortable working in customers’ homes
Open to eventually being on-call
Interested in building a long-term career in the trades
