Full job description

About the Role

We’re looking for a technician to join our team. This is a full-time field position to start, with the possibility of growing into a hybrid field/office role over time for the right person. We’re ideally looking for someone with a Geomatics education background. Hands-on experience is a bonus, but if you’ve got the education, the attitude, and a willingness to learn, we’re willing to train the rest.

What You’ll Do

Collect field data using total stations, GPS/GNSS equipment, metal detectors, and the humble shovel.
Assist with boundary, topographic, and construction surveys under the direction of a BC Land Surveyor (BCLS)
Keep accurate field notes and measurements
Represent the company professionally when working alongside clients and contractors on-site

What We’re Looking For

A diploma or degree in Geomatics, Survey Technology, or a related field
Field experience in surveying is preferred but not a deal breaker if you’re the right fit
Familiarity with survey instruments is a plus
Valid BC driver’s licence with a clean abstract
Comfortable working outdoors in all kinds of weather and terrain
Good attention to detail, reliable, and eager to learn
