We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant / Receptionist to join our growing team. This position combines hands-on patient care with front desk responsibilities and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about helping both animals and the people who love them.

We are a high-volume, low-cost veterinary clinic dedicated to providing affordable, quality care to pets in our community. We believe that every pet deserves access to veterinary services, regardless of their owner's financial circumstances.

Our work goes beyond routine veterinary care. Through our spay and neuter programs and affordable medical services, we help reduce pet overpopulation, improve animal welfare, and ensure more families can access the care their pets need. Every member of our team contributes directly to this mission.

Position ResponsibilitiesVeterinary Assistant Duties

Assist with a high volume of spay and neuter procedures
Administer injections as directed by veterinarians
Recover and monitor patients following anesthesia and surgery
Administer medications and treatments
Assist with patient handling and restraint
Maintain treatment and surgical areas
Ensure patients receive attentive, compassionate care throughout their visit

Reception Duties

Answer phones and respond to client inquiries
Schedule appointments and manage daily bookings
Check patients in and out
Review discharge instructions with clients
Process payments and maintain accurate records
Provide exceptional customer service in a busy clinic environment

Qualifications

Veterinary clinic experience is required
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Compassionate, dependable, and professional

Wage will be based on experience and qualifications.
