Full job description

Company Overview:

Location: 4215 Commerce Circle, Victoria, British Columbia. V8Z 6N6
Work hours: 04:00 AM onwards, with an opportunity to work extra hours.

Must have access to your own transportation as the buses don't run at this time. This is a Casual position.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Unload shipments from delivery trucks and containers, ensuring that all items are accounted for and undamaged.
Sort and organize products for storage or distribution, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Operate pallet jacks to move large pallets and materials as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency within the warehouse.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
Perform routine inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues.
This is a fast pace shift and a very good cardio workout!

Qualifications

No Criminal Record (for which a pardon has not been granted).
Previous experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse operations is preferred.
Familiarity with Greater Victoria is an asset for sorting inbound freight.
Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
Must be 18 years or older
No more than 3 demerit points in the last 24 months
Must have a valid driving license & access to own transportation
