We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and results-driven General Sales Manager to join our leadership team.

The Opportunity

As General Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing our sales team, driving sales performance, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced dealership environment and knows how to motivate a team while holding people accountable.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed monthly targets
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize volume, gross profit, and overall dealership performance
Monitor individual and team performance, providing regular feedback and coaching
Manage daily sales operations, including leads, appointments, follow-up, customer engagement, and closing
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process
Work closely with the General Manager and management team to achieve dealership objectives
Review sales reports, KPIs, inventory, and other performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
Maintain strong standards for CRM usage, lead management, and customer follow-up
Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, and performance management of sales staff
Ensure dealership policies, procedures, and compliance requirements are followed
Build a positive, professional, and performance-driven team culture
Lead by example and remain actively involved in the sales floor and day-to-day operation

What We're Looking For

3+ years of automotive sales management experience, preferably in a high-volume dealership
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a successful sales team
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Excellent understanding of dealership sales processes, KPIs, and gross profit management
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to coach and develop a diverse team
Confident decision-maker who can perform well under pressure
Customer-focused with a strong commitment to delivering an exceptional buying experience
Strong computer and CRM skills
Valid BC driver's license and a clean driving record
VSA Salesperson Licence
