Shape the Story of a Major Transportation Hub – Communications Coordinator Opportunity
Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Communications Coordinator in the transportation industry in Victoria, British Columbia.
Agilus is recruiting a Communications Coordinator for a dynamic, public-facing organization in the transportation sector. In this role, you’ll help deliver impactful communications, marketing campaigns, and stakeholder engagement initiatives. From crafting content to supporting media relations and community outreach, you’ll play a key role in keeping audiences informed, engaged, and connected in a fast-paced environment.
Total rewards:

$43.87 hourly
Starts at $43.87 per hour based on 37.50 hours per week and increases to $46.19 after 6-months
3 weeks vacation to start

A typical day:

Develop and publish content across web, social media, and internal platforms
Draft press releases, media advisories, and corporate communications materials
Support media relations, inquiries, and coverage reporting
Execute communications plans for projects, service changes, and initiatives
Assist with integrated marketing campaigns and performance tracking
Coordinate community engagement activities and stakeholder communications
Manage website, intranet updates, and digital content assets
Support event planning, promotions, and cross-functional initiatives

Successful candidates will have:

Post-secondary education in communications, PR, marketing, or related discipline
Minimum 3 years of communications or public relations experience
Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
Experience with social media, digital content, and web platforms
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills
Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with CMS, Canva, or Adobe is an asset
Eligible for Canadian work authorization and able to obtain required security clearance
