Cook alongside our Michelin-Star trained Executive Chef, our award winning Executive Sous Chef and our incredibly talented Master Pastry Chef. Spend your days working at one of the most beautiful and one of the best restaurants on Vancouver Island.

The Alpina Restaurant at the Villa Eyrie Resort is currently seeking a full-time, year-round Sous Chef to join our incredible team. If you are a personable, positive and reliable individual with a passion for cooking, this is the opportunity for you!

What you will need to be a part of our great team….

Minimum 5 years’ experience preferred
Food Safe Certificate
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Hold a valid BC driver’s license as there is no public transportation

What you will do….

Cook alongside the best chefs on Vancouver Island
Ensure the production, preparation and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times
Fully aware of all menu items, their recipes, methods of production and presentation standards
Lead, manage and inspire the culinary team
Assist in inventory counts, orders and procedures
