Full job description

Scotty Manufacturing is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Assembler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the assembly and fabrication of products, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process. This position requires a mechanical aptitude and the ability to work effectively in a warehouse environment.

Duties

Assemble components and products according to specifications .
Utilize hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks.
Fabricate parts as needed to meet production requirements.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
Follow all operating processes and use all relevant WCB safety practices.
Other duties as assigned as part of product assembly

Skills

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent Communication Skills- Written, Verbal, Interpersonal
Manual dexterity required with small components
Attention to detail and an interest in learning is important to succeed
Mechanical aptitude with hand tools, lathes, drill press is an asset
Handling both raw materials and finished goods
A flexible and strong team player that can work in a varied environment
Essential physical requirements- sitting, standing, and bending as needed
Ability to lift up to 40lbs safely
