Full job description

We are seeking a dependable and proactive individual to assist with the ongoing care and maintenance of a residential strata property. This is a two days a week, 5 hours a day job (ideally Tuesday and Friday but can be negotiated)

Key Responsibilities

Perform regular building walkthroughs and identify maintenance or safety concerns
Complete minor maintenance tasks such as changing lightbulbs, lubricating hinges/locks, and clearing debris
Coordinate contractor access and communicate with property management and Council
Program resident fobs and maintain access records
Clean and maintain common areas including lobbies, elevators, hallways, stairwells, parkade areas, and exterior entryways
Disinfect high-touch surfaces and ensure common areas remain safe, clean, and presentable
Monitor building systems through visual inspections of mechanical areas
Assist with move-ins, move-outs, and contractor visits as needed

Experience & Qualifications

Bondable
Previous caretaking, janitorial, building maintenance, or property services experience preferred
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Comfortable performing light physical work including stairs, lifting, vacuuming, and mopping
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Basic knowledge of tools, maintenance tasks, and cleaning procedures is an asset
Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented

Pay: From $29.00 per hour
