Niagara Motors is seeking a creative, organised, and community-minded individual to join our GM dealership team. This is an in-person role ideal for someone who understands digital marketing, social media, customer engagement, and the importance of building a strong local brand presence.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, creating, and managing marketing initiatives that support vehicle sales, service, customer retention, community engagement, and dealership visibility.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Manage the dealership’s social media accounts, including Facebook and Instagram, and other relevant platforms.
- Create engaging social media content, including photos, videos, reels, graphics, captions, promotions, and dealership updates.
- Develop and maintain a consistent content calendar for sales, service, events, staff features, community involvement, and GM brand initiatives.
- Monitor and respond to online engagement, comments, direct messages, and customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Manage Google Business Profile reviews, including monitoring, responding, and helping improve the dealership’s online reputation.
- Organize dealership events, including private sales, customer appreciation events, new vehicle launches, promotional events, and community outreach initiatives.
- Coordinate community involvement, sponsorships, partnerships, charitable initiatives, and local brand-building opportunities.
- Attend community events as a brand representative, building rapport and engagement with existing and potential customers
- Support sales and service departments with marketing campaigns, promotional materials, and customer communication.
- Work with management to develop marketing strategies that align with dealership goals.
- Coordinate photography and video content for inventory, staff, events, and promotions.
- Assist with email marketing, digital advertising, website updates, and campaign tracking as required.
- Ensure all marketing materials reflect the dealership’s brand standards and GM guidelines.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in marketing, social media management, communications, event planning, or a related role.
- Strong writing, photography, video, and content creation skills
- Must be a confident and engaging public speaker
- Experience managing business social media accounts.
- Familiarity with Google Business Profile, online reviews, and reputation management.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A creative mindset with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence working with staff, customers, vendors, and community partners.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with dealership leadership and department managers.
- Automotive dealership experience is an asset, but not required.
- A valid driver’s licence.
