RECEPTIONIST

One (1) Full Time (Permanent)

Monday to Friday – 7 hours/day

Wabasca, Alberta

Bigstone Health Commission is seeking a highly motivated, and dependable Receptionist to join our talented Health Team. Duties and Responsibilities:

· Assist nurses and other staff members with clerical duties

· Ensure efficient and friendly operation of the reception area

· Greeting, welcoming and directing visitors appropriately

· Answer switchboard and ensure calls/messages are directed to the appropriate department

· Open, sort and distribute correspondence

· Assist with projects on an ad-hoc basis

· Perform other receptionist duties as requested and required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment

· Excellent communication, written and organizational skills

· A friendly outgoing personality

· Good knowledge of office procedures

· Must be a team player and able to work with minimal supervision

· Dedicated and reliable

Education and Experience:

· Post-secondary education (Certificate or Diploma) related to Office Administration and/or equivalent.

· Previous receptionist experience

· Previous experience in a health care setting is an asset

· Valid Class 5 Driver’s license
