RATESDOTCA Group Ltd. is expanding. Join Canada's fastest-growing internet technology company in the insurance industry.

The Opportunity

We are seeking energetic and customer focused individuals to join our team as Contact Centre Ambassadors in our Welland, ON location. This position is the first point of contact with our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for answering inbound and making outbound calls to customers interested in insurance quotes. We are looking for individuals with strong communication and computer skills who bring a commitment to satisfying the customers’ needs in a timely and efficient manner. This role also gives you the opportunity to grow in the company and be considered for our Insurance Broker training after gaining experience and showing proficiency as a Contact Centre Ambassador.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Provide guidance and support to customers

Use our dashboards to locate and transfer the client’s quotation(s) to the chosen insurance supplier

Connect our clients with insurance carrier of choice

Document each customer contact and update our customer management system

Work collaboratively with the insurance carriers to satisfy the client’s needs

Required Qualifications

Previous contact centre or customer service experience

Demonstrated comfort with technology including MS Office package, databases and internet search engines

Team player who can work in a fast-paced environment

Strong organizational, multi-tasking and problem-solving abilities

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Fluent in English

Preferred Education and Experience

Completion of high school education or GED
