Position Summary:

The Sheet Metal worker will be responsible for fabricating, installing, and repairing sheet metal systems in a commercial setting. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal components.
Measure, mark, cut, and shape metal sheets using various hand and power tools. Perform on-site installations, ensuring compliance with building codes and safety standards.
Operate fabrication machinery, such as shears, brakes, and rollers, with precision.
Inspect work for quality, accuracy, and durability.
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and supervisors.
Adhere to workplace safety guidelines and participate in safety training as required.

Qualifications:

Licensed/Apprentice Sheet Metal Worker, OCOT Registered in good standing
Commercial and Institutional construction an asset
Valid G drivers license and transportation
Gas License (G1-3) an asset
Safety Training Level 1-Working at Heights, WHIMIS 2015, Health & Safety Awareness, Elevating Work Platforms

This is a full time position that offers full benefit and pension package.
